Our opening sequence 'LIFE AFTER DEATH'!!! (;

During this week, we showcased our opening sequence to the whole class and we got feedback. which I found to be very useful. now during the other half of this week we will be working on it to improve it. We also finished the titles and added the music onto the footage. The final thing is actually amazing, Im soooo proud of the whole project I think that its really professional and cool. We used Final Cut Express for editing,  LiveType for the fancy titles and GarageBand  for the music to add into our opening sequence

During this week, we continued to edit the other half of the rough edit and now we finished it. Then we consulted the teacher for help and advice. She watched the opening sequence and suggested what we had to change and how we must edit the beginning and the ending. Then we called Michel for second opinion and we also consulted him for help and guidance about how to edit and brighten some of the shots and change the speed of the camera and the movement etc.

During this week, we uploaded the new shots into final express program and started watching it as a group. We added the new shots to where it had to be added and found that it suited the flow of the opening sequence very well.

During the weekend, we all got together and watched more opening sequences to get more ideas and inspiration. We also planned the new scenes and the shots that had to be re-shot and practiced shooting them with lighting etc. I think that it all turned out to be good.

Today, we finally started editing! As a group, we started editing the first section of the opening sequence. It was fun but a bit challenging because of the timing and how to cut it and not everyone in the group agreed to cut it in a specific time etc. We also found that we were missing some scenes from the footage so we will have to reschedule and re-shoot some of the scenes and film the missing ones.

Today, we tried to upload our filming into Final Express but we had few technical problems with the camera and the programme. So we consulted our teacher and she helped us upload the filming. So eventually we did upload the filming into the programme and we looked through it to see if we missed any shots and if the lighting is good etc. We found that we had to film some bits in different angles and change the lighting.
